How do I print or save the worksheet?
Use “Print 4 puzzles” above for the question sheet, or “Print answer sheet” for the completed grids. The layout places four puzzles together in a two-column arrangement, with space for your name and date.
Choose your printer in the browser dialog. If it offers “Save as PDF”, you can save a copy instead. Check the preview, paper size and scale before printing; browser headers and footers can usually be switched off there. This is browser printing, not a separate PDF download.
New to Sudoku? Start with these four numbers
In a 4×4 Sudoku, each row, column and thick-bordered 2×2 box contains 1, 2, 3 and 4 exactly once. Keep the starting numbers unchanged. You do not add or multiply anything.
These four fixed puzzles each have one solution. Puzzle 1 is the same example used in our complete mini-Sudoku lesson, so the online explanation matches your paper.
Your first move, explained
On puzzle 1, look at row 2, column 3. Its top-right box already contains 3, 4 and 2. The only missing number is 1, so write 1 there.
Now row 2 reads blank, 3, 1, 2. It needs a 4 in the first cell. That is how one certain move opens the next; you do not need to guess.

Can I print classic and Killer Sudoku too?
Yes. Open the game you want, choose a puzzle, then use its “Print puzzle” button. Those single-puzzle sheets contain the original starting clues, not your entries or notes. Killer sheets retain their cage outlines and totals.
The separate answer-sheet option on this page applies to these four fixed mini puzzles. The regular classic and Killer print buttons do not currently include an answer sheet.
Make paper practice feel less like a test
Use a pencil, leave uncertain cells empty and check one row, column or box at a time. If you use small candidate notes, erase a candidate only when you can explain why.
The answers can stay folded away until you need them. Getting stuck is a reason to inspect one constraint again, not a reason to race. The sheet’s address brings you back to the same puzzles and explanations.
